Terms conditions
A booking on the Nomad Campus website requires a deposit to be paid:
- 150 € for booking a flat in a residence in France
- 300 € for booking a flat in a residence in Spain
This deposit will be automatically deducted from the booking fee and/or the first month's rent.
The deposit will be refunded under the following conditions:
- If the application is not approved by Nomad Campus.
- If the candidate does not achieve a passing grade in the baccalaureate exam and cannot enroll in the school for which they had applied for accommodation. A full refund will be issued upon receipt of proof of failure in the baccalaureate exams. You have 7 days from receiving this notification to submit the necessary documentation.
- If the candidate is not admitted to the institution for which they have applied for accommodation. A full refund will be issued upon receipt of proof of non-acceptance to the relevant institution withing 7 days from receiving this notification.
- If we can no longer provide the accommodation requested and/or the alternative we offer is not to your liking.
- If you wish to withdraw your application. In accordance with article L121-21 of the French Consumer Code, “The consumer shall have a period of fourteen days to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract, without giving any reason.”
In any case, refunds will be issued by bank transfer to the account provided to Nomad Campus no later than 1 month after the refund request.
The deposit will not be refunded in the following cases:
- If the candidate is admitted to their chosen institution, for which they requested accommodation, but decides to attend another school and refuses to occupy the accommodation.
- If the tenant takes more than 5 days to send the necessary supporting documents for the review of the application. After at least 2 written reminders, Nomad Campus considers that the tenant is no longer interested in renting the apartment. The application is rejected, the deposit is kept.
Review of application
The payment of the deposit does not automatically confirm your reservation.
Reservations will be confirmed only upon receipt and approval of all necessary documents requested, depending on the candidate’s status (student, intern, apprentice student…) which you can consult by clicking here. Incomplete applications may affect the processing of your application.
Nomad Campus reserves the right to refuse or reject an application if the supporting documents do not meet the required selection criteria. (In particular, the guarantor's income must be at least 3 times the rent (including tax) of the apartment in question – after expenses deducted.
If one guarantor alone does not meet the requirements, a second guarantor can be added. The total income of the 2 guarantors must be at least 3 times the rent (after expenses deducted) of the apartment in question.
Data retention
Nomad Campus does not store your data if your application is not approved.
