You are entitled to a free move-in and move-out inspection report (inventory and condition report).
You are entitled to receive a free rent receipt once your rent has been paid.
You have the right to terminate the lease agreement at any time, provided that you comply with the required notice period.
You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property.
This means that the landlord must ensure that you are able to occupy the property peacefully and without undue disturbance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pay your rent and any applicable charges on the date specified in your lease agreement.
Use the rented property peacefully, meaning you must occupy and use the apartment responsibly and without causing disturbances.
Be responsible for routine maintenance (such as cleaning and disposing of household waste) and for tenant repairs as required.
Do not make any alterations or modifications to the property without the landlord's prior written consent.
Do not assign or sublet your apartment without the landlord's prior written approval, including approval of the proposed rent.
Comply with the residence's internal rules and regulations.

Set Up Your Electricity Account
As electricity is not included in your rent, please make sure you have your bank account details (IBAN) and lease agreement, then contact the energy supplier of your choice to set up your electricity contract.
Feel free to contact your residence manager to obtain the following information:
The PDL (Point of Delivery) number (electricity meter identification number)
Your meter reading
The name of the previous tenant
Your energy supplier will require this information when setting up your account.

You are free to choose any electricity supplier to open your electricity contract.
Forward Your Mail
As soon as possible, notify the relevant organizations of your new address (don't forget to include your apartment number), such as:
Family Benefits Office (CAF)
Health Insurance (Social Security)
Tax Authorities
Your bank
Your school or university
And any other relevant organizations
To ensure you don't miss any mail, you can request a mail forwarding service from your local post office.
To receive your mail correctly, make sure your address includes all of the following information:
First name
Last name
Name of your residence
Apartment No. XXX
Residence address
Postal code and city

The residence manager cannot accept parcels or registered mail that require a signature on your behalf.
Safety in Your Residence
For your safety, whenever you enter the residence, make sure the entrance door closes properly behind you. If you notice anyone behaving suspiciously, please inform the residence manager immediately.
If an unauthorized person enters the residence, you are entitled to call the police by dialing 17 (or 112 from any mobile phone in Europe).
FIRE ALARM
If the fire alarm sounds:
Leave the residence immediately using the stairs. Do not use the elevator.
Call the fire department by dialing 18 (or 112 from any mobile phone in Europe).
If the residence manager is not on site, contact them immediately. If they do not answer, send them a text message (SMS).
DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITATION
Door-to-door solicitation is not permitted within the residence.
If anyone attempts to solicit you, please inform your residence manager immediately.
