Inventory of fixtures

To access your accommodation, you must schedule an appointment to carry out the inventory of fixtures in the presence of the residence staff.

This inventory can only be carried out from the lease start date, not before, and during the residence’s opening hours.

The inventory of fixtures may only be carried out by the tenant.

If the tenant is unable to attend, they may grant power of attorney to a third party, who must present:
- the original power of attorney
valid ID document

The inventory of fixtures signed by the third party is legally binding and cannot be contested by the tenant, except if, within 7 days following the move-in inventory, the tenant identifies items that were not mentioned in the inventory.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

The move-in inventory of fixtures is a document signed by the tenant and the owner or property manager, which defines the condition of the accommodation on a joint basis at the time the keys are handed over.
It is, in a way, a “snapshot” of the condition of the accommodation before you move in.
The keys will be handed over at that time.

Please note: we do not keep spare keys. In the event of loss or theft, the replacement of the lock cylinder will be at your expense.

The move-out inventory of fixtures will be carried out on the day you vacate the apartment, at the latest on the final day of your notice period.
The return of the keys will take place at that time.

(French ALUR law sets the notice period for furnished rentals at one month, starting from the date the registered letter is received by the head office. The tenant may terminate the lease at any time.)

To ensure your departure goes as smoothly as possible, please prepare in advance for the move-out inventory:

• Make sure the apartment has been completely emptied of furniture and personal belongings and that a FULL cleaning has been carried out (by you or a professional).

To help you with this process, you can refer to the cleanliness guidelines, available here.

• Finally, return the keys, specifying their number and their use (building entrance, mailbox, etc.).
